Can You Ace This Dictionary Quiz?

About this Quiz

The dictionary was invented by John Of Garland, an Englishman who wanted to help with Latin "diction" back in 1220. The English version, which contained about 8000 words, was created by Richard Mulcaster 350 years later. And soon, it would go on to be translated into just about every known language in the world.

But how familiar are you with this useful book? Sure, you learned how to use it in school, but did you master it the way few people have done? Do you know enough words that you can ace our quiz? Or will the words "inevitable" and "lagoon" trip you up? It's time to find out right now!
